Assam is a state in north-eastern India known for its wildlife, archaeological sites and tea plantations. Assam tea is a black tea named after the region of its production, Assam, India. Assam tea is manufactured specifically from the plant Camellia sinensis. Although Assam tea is now mostly grown at or near sea level and is known for its body, briskness, malty flavour, and strong, bright colour.

How To Brew

Temperature

Heat 180 ml of water up to 90-degree Celsius

Quantity

Add 2 – 2.5 grams of tea leaves

Time

Steep the tea leaves for 3 mins and strain

Hot Brew: Spiced Black Peony Brew

  • Brew your Black Peony liquor along with grated ginger, cloves and pepper

  • Brew your Black Peony liquor using coconut water
  • Add some fresh lime slices to balance out the flavour
