Assam is a state in north-eastern India known for its wildlife, archaeological sites and tea plantations. Assam tea is a black tea named after the region of its production, Assam, India. Assam tea is manufactured specifically from the plant Camellia sinensis var. assamica (Masters). Although Assam tea is now mostly grown at or near sea level and is known for its body, briskness, malty flavour, and strong, bright colour.

How To Brew


Heat 180 ml of water up to 90-degree Celsius


Add 2 – 2.5 grams of tea leaves


Steep the tea leaves for 3 mins and strain

Hot Brew: Classic Broken Pekoe Warm Nutmeg

  • Brew your Classic Broken Pekoe liquor
  • Strain the liquor. Add some nutmeg powder and a pinch of salt to it
  • Serve hot

Cold Brew: Classic Broken Pekoe Smooth

  • Brew your Classic Broken Pekoe liquor
  • Add a very small amount of baking soda to the liquor to get a completely smooth tea experience
  • Add ice cubes to the brew. Serve chilled
