Origin

Assam is a state in north-eastern India known for its wildlife, archaeological sites and tea plantations. Assam tea is a black tea named after the region of its production, Assam, India. Assam tea is manufactured specifically from the plant Camellia sinensis var. assamica (Masters). Although Assam tea is now mostly grown at or near sea level and is known for its body, briskness, malty flavour, and strong, bright colour.

How To Brew

Temperature

Heat 180 ml of water up to 90-degree Celsius

Quantity

Add 2 – 2.5 grams of tea leaves

Time

Steep the tea leaves for 3 mins and strain

Hot Brew: Gold Orthodox Sweet & Sour cup

  • Brew your Gold Orthodox liquor
  • Strain the liquor. Add a spoon of honey and a few drops of lemon juice

Cold Brew: Gold Orthodox Blackberry Mint Refresher

  • Brew your Gold Orthodox liquor and cool it down
  • Fill a glass with ice. Add a few pieces of blackberries to the liquor
  • Garnish with mint leaves. Serve chilled
